Boris Burmistrov, Russian Consul General in Iran, visited Medical University of Isfahan on Monday, July 6, to strengthen scientific cooperation with the University as he said that medical issues, especially with the focus on Covid-19 was a good opportunity for boosting Russian ties with Iran. In this regard, he had a visit from the Faculty of Medicine, International Education Center and Tadbir Building of Medical University of Isfahan.
In a meeting with the Chancellor of the MUI, Dr. Cahngiz, the university's scientific capacities and potentials were introduced, also discussed about the fields of scientific, educational and research cooperation.
“There is no doubt that the research, experiences, treatment strategies and decisions that are on the way to deal with coronavirus can be shared between Isfahan and Russian scientific centers,” said Burmistrov, “At the same time, we are ready to expand our ties with Isfahan in other sectors which will lead to the expansion of Iran-Russia relations.”
According to the MoU between Isfahan and St. Petersburg, Russia for improving their relations, he said that the issue can be extended to other scientific centers and other fields as well.
