Some important points about the MBBS course:
1- It is similar to the MD course in the basic sciences, physiopathology and externship, and students can request to change the course during their studies in any of the MD and MBBS courses.
2- In the MBBS course, students must participate in the pre-internship exam and get at least 60% of the passing score in order to be allowed to attend the Clinical Competence exam.
3- To graduate from MBBS, students must attend the Clinical Competence exam and get at least 60% of the passing score, otherwise, they could not graduate.
4- After graduating from MBBS, students who want to apply for a 12-month internship must submit an application and complete the relevant course at the University of origin then receive a certificate of the course completion. Obviously, the tuition fee for this course will be charged separately by the University of origin, and this course will be included in the student's transcript.
5- In the MD course, after the pre-internship exam and getting the passing score, the student is required to complete an 18-month internship. Note that the graduation conditions for international students are the same as Iranian students. The MBBS degree is similar to the MD degree in the stages of basic sciences, physiopathology and internship, and students can request to change the degree during their studies in any of the MD and MBBS courses
