36th Khwarizmi International Award

The executive Committee of the 36th Edition of the Khwarizmi International Award (KIA) is pleased to call for applications. Researchers, Inventors and Innovators from around the world are invited to take part in this unique multidisciplinary scientific contest.

The Khwarizmi International Award is named in memory of Abu Jafar Mohammad Ibn Mousa Khwarizmi, the great Iranian mathematician and astronomer, and seeks to recognize the efforts made by researchers, innovators and inventors from all over the world and to appreciate their invaluable.

Fields of participation include: Aerospace, Agriculture, Natural Resources, Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Basic Sciences, Biotechnology and Basic Medical Sciences, Chemical Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Eng., Green Technology, Industrial and Technology Management, Information Technology, Nanotechnology, Materials Eng., Metallurgy and New Energies, Mechanical Eng., Mechatronics, and Medical Sciences.

The selection criteria of the candidates are as follows:

  • Innovation in research subject or research method,
  • Application of the research work results in technology development the impact of the candidate’s research work on the current state of her/his field of science
  • Publications must be of exceptional scientific quality,
  • Reliability of the journals in which the results have been published,
  • Economical aspects of the research work,
  • International standing in their field of research,
  • Continued impact on the field of research.
