Ten MUI faculty members among the world’s top 2% scientists

A publicly available database containing the top 2% of the most-cited scientists in various disciplines has been created by a team of experts led by Prof. John Ioannidis, the eminent Professor at Stanford University. The database provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator.

According to the updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators, ten faculty members of MUI are on the list of the top 2% of the most-cited scientists in the world. This recognition places the University in the global map of excellence in medical research and brings great pride to MUI.

The updated version of the DB is based on the Aug 01, 2021 snapshot from Scopus which is freely available here and in Mendeley.
