The International Education Department (IED) promotes international and cross-cultural learning and understanding, plus inclusive excellence, and the importance and benefits of diversity. It provides safety, well-being and other essential related considerations for a high-quality education.
The mission of the International Education Center is to manage and coordinate efforts of internationalizing the university’s education. The IED achieves its mission through supporting high quality global academic study and internship opportunities, facilitating faculty and student exchange programs, and educational collaboration with foreign institutes and universities. It not only provides international students with state-of-the-art school facilities, positive classroom atmospheres, and highly qualified faculty members, but also assists them by any required information before traveling to Iran.
There are a number of higher education qualifications available to prospective students at undergraduate, postgraduate, specialty, subspecialty, and fellowship levels in various fields of study. The University offers undergraduate degrees in Professional Doctorate including Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and Bachelor of Science (BSc) including BDS, Nursing, Midwifery, and Health.
Further to its internationally accredited curricula, the center offers a number of short-term courses, visiting programs, as well as online courses in which international students have the opportunity to participate.
Through its mission, the IED assists the university by:
- Managing international student affairs
- Promoting and supporting the international education and research needs and interests of Medical University of Isfahan
- Offering cultural and educational programming both on-campus and within the local community
