On Thursday, June 23, the University arranged a visit to the Constitution House of Isfahan for girls international students to get familiar with one of the active centers of Constitutionalism in Iran.
Located next to the Naghshe-e Jahan Square, Constitution House of Isfahan is a historical edifice of the Qajar’s era, which used to be a gathering place for people, scholars, intellectuals and political figures during the years that led to the Persian Constitutional Revolution.
The house also known as Khaneh Mashroutiyat or Khaneh Haj Aqha Nourrollah Najafi Esfahani, the prominent scholar of the time, is like a bridge that connects the mindset of freedom seekers to the today and future generation.
Now, it is refurbished to a historical museum exhibiting documents and photographs from constitution period in Iran and has a big share in the history, culture and art of Isfahan city.
