To leverage the MUI International Education Department's expertise in international student admissions, a delegation from Semnan University of Medical Sciences (SUMS) had a visit to MUI on November 26 and 27, 2024. The IED hosted Dr. Kamankesh, SUMS Vice-Chancellor of International Affairs; Dr. Salmani, Head of SUMS International Self-Accreditation Committee; and Dr. Kargari, Representative of the Ministry of Health, to discuss MUI's strengths in attracting and educating foreign students.
The meeting included MUI’s Vice-Chancellor for Education, the Director of International Affairs, the Director of the International Education Department, Representative of Supreme Leader, as well as other relevant managers and staff at the IED Meeting Hall. Dr. Masoumi, Vice-Chancellor for Education, warmly welcomed the guests and briefly introduced Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. This was followed by an insightful presentation from Dr. Samsamshariat, Director of the International Education Department, on the IED's initiatives. We highlighted the university's strengths and engaged in discussions about shared challenges and various programs for international students.
Finally, the SUMS representatives toured the department and examined MUI's dormitories for native and international students, where they interacted with students and observed their living conditions. Throughout this visit, the delegation learned about the department's history, the number of international students, academic staff, and other facilities.
