Dentist’s Day

If you feel nervous or afraid of visiting dentists, you’re not alone. But if this often disliked job didn’t exist, our longing for sugars, pastries, and sweet treats would have destroyed our teeth a long time ago. Love them or hate them, there’s certainly an argument to say that dentists are one of the most vital professionals you can get in the health industry. After all, without our teeth, what should we do?

Dentist’s day is mean to honor our favorite nerve-wracking experience in the dentist’s chair. While some people aren’t always too avid for getting their teeth checked, sorting out cavities and stopping decay in its tracks is key to a long and healthy life – so today, appreciate them and say thank you!

In this regard, there are different dates around the world to celebrate the oral health and status of those who work in this field.

In Iran, Dentist’s Day is celebrated every year on 23 Farvardin (13th April) to express gratitude to the people who help you to keep your tooth healthy.

This day was designated as a way to show appreciation and thanks for dentists. It aims at bringing awareness to dentistry so that people will know more about how to care for their teeth. It not only does remind people to pay more attention to their dental health, but it also encourages people who may have avoided going to the dentist to come for a checkup.

Wishing all the ‘teeth-saviors’ a happy and smiley Dentists day.
