On October 13, 2025, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences proudly hosted its third graduation ceremony for international students, honoring fifteen MBBS graduates from India, Pakistan, and Iraq, in a spirited event attended by university officials, faculty, and proud families.
Dr. Hossein Salehi, Director of the International Education Department, delivered a heartfelt and profound address, reminding the new doctors that their title is far beyond an academic achievement—it is an oath to healing, kindness, and service to humanity beyond borders. “Today, you have become doctors,” he said. “You carry a sacred responsibility to bring healing and hope wherever you go. Your education has equipped you not just with medical knowledge but with a deep understanding of human suffering regardless of nationality, race, or religion. This empathy is your greatest achievement.” He encouraged graduates to see their profession as a lifelong journey of learning and compassion and to never forget the human stories behind every illness.
Dr. Masoumi, Vice-Chancellor for Education, addressed the new alumni with encouraging words, emphasizing their potential to significantly enhance healthcare standards in their home countries, hoping for their sustained success and prosperity in both their professional and personal lives.
Dr. Armanian, Educational Deputy of Medical School, echoed the sentiment that graduation marks a beginning, not an endpoint, urging graduates to remain dedicated to continuous growth. He also expressed gratitude for divine grace, parental sacrifices, dedicated professors, and the graduates’ own efforts. He acknowledged the rigor demanded to prepare physicians capable of representing Isfahan University of Medical Sciences with honor worldwide.
The ceremony’s solemn moment came with the recitation of the Hippocratic Oath led by Dr. Esfandiari, binding the graduates to ethical practice. A touching highlight was a segment of personal reflections, where students shared their journeys, challenges, and gratitude toward Iran and the university—adding warmth and depth to the celebration.
The event concluded with the presentation of awards and the traditional tossing of graduation caps, symbolizing the graduates’ transition from students to compassionate healers ready to make a global impact. This ceremony reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and training skilled professionals devoted to advancing healthcare worldwide.
