International education Department celebrated the graduation of 40 international students at a ceremony held on September 21, 2026, at Dr. Shariati Hall.
The graduating class comprised 30 medical students, two dentistry students, six students in Nursing and Midwifery, and two Master’s students in International Physics.
The ceremony brought together the Vice President for Education, the Vice President for Student and Cultural Affairs, the Advisor to the Vice President for Education for Administrative, Financial and Support Affairs, the Director of International Education Development, the Deputy for General Medical Education, as well as faculty members and staff from MUI’s international and educational divisions.
The program opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran and the national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In their remarks, the Vice President for Education and the Director of International Education Development addressed the graduates and highlighted the role of international education in fostering academic and professional development.
The ceremony continued with the collective recitation of the Medical Oath, led by Dr. Behzad Shams. The event concluded with the presentation of commemorative plaques to the graduates, marking the completion of their academic journey at IUMS and the beginning of a new chapter in their professional lives.
