On November 16, 2025, the International Education Department (IED) proudly welcomed the newest cohort of international students to our university with a heartfelt and informative orientation ceremony. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an and the national anthem, followed by an inspiring welcome video. Dr. Hossein Salehi, Director of IED, delivered an encouraging address, emphasizing the university’s commitment to supporting international students throughout their academic journey. "We are thrilled to have our new international students join our diverse and vibrant university family. Welcome — your exciting journey has just begun!" he said.
Next, the IED team members were then formally introduced, giving students the opportunity to meet the dedicated staff members who will guide them in academic, administrative, and daily matters during their time here. Student representatives also shared their experiences and valuable tips, helping newcomers feel instantly connected to the university community. During the session, practical advice was offered to cover essential policies and regulations for a successful academic journey, including class attendance requirements, academic probation criteria (GPA thresholds), examination procedures, basic sciences and pre-internship stages, general course structure, and other key information that new students need to know.
Following the program, participants enjoyed a guided campus tour, exploring faculties, libraries, laboratories, and other important facilities — a perfect way to get familiar with their new academic home. The day concluded on a cheerful note with a friendly lunch at Ghadir Restaurant, where students, faculty, and staff shared conversations and began building lasting connections.
The IED proudly welcomes all new international students and looks forward to accompanying them on this exciting new chapter of their academic and personal journey.
