Responsibilities:
- Conduct, coordinate, implement and oversee the development and revision of educational programs, with emphasis on their accountability to the health needs of the community covered by the university within the authority of the university, in accordance with the rules of the Supreme Council of Planning
- Organizing, planning, implementing and supervising of faculty members’ abilities in different fields of medical education
- Conduct and supervise the implementation of new educational and evaluation methods for the development and enhancement of the quality of university education
- Organize, implement and oversee the evaluation of faculty members and learning processes
- Conduct and monitor the learner evaluation processes and analyze the results of the exams with the aim of improving the quality of the exams
- Conduct and oversee the educational programs of the clinical skills centers of the university
- Organizing and monitoring the processes of identification, attraction and productivity of brilliant talents
- Supervision, approval, funding and supervision of the implementation of research projects in education
- Conduct and oversee the University’s distance and e-learning programs
- Conduct, coordinate, facilitate, supervise and evaluate scholarly activities based on the relevant regulations
- Monitor performance and coordinate activities of affiliated education development offices
- Provide advice on relevant educational issues to the relevant authorities
- Provide advice on designing and evaluating university continuing education programs
